IdeaNotesDid you know?
Nearly 9 out of 10 consumers read online reviews to evaluate the quality of a business.

Reviews have become the modern version of word of mouth, with more people trusting online feedback over traditional marketing. Reviews also significantly impact your local SEO, so having a strong review strategy is key. Many clients are happy to leave a review but need a simple reminder. That’s why asking them is so important!

To Get More Reviews

Here are some strategies to help you gather more online reviews:

  1. Add a call to action in your email signature
Include a simple line asking clients or family members to leave a review, with a direct link to your GBP or Facebook page.

  2. Leverage positive feedback
If a client or family member shares positive feedback or a testimonial, kindly ask if they would be willing to share it as a review on Google, Facebook, or Yelp.

  3. Engage your caregivers
Caregivers frequently interact with clients and their families, making them ideal advocates for gently reminding families to leave a review. It’s best to ask occasionally when the family has expressed satisfaction with the services.

  4. Ask at key moments
When a client renews services or as their care plan is coming to an end, this is a great opportunity to ask for feedback through a Google review.

  5. Make it easy
Only ask clients to leave a Google review if they already have a Gmail account to ensure it's a smooth process.

  6. Guide their review
Encourage clients by asking a specific question like, "What did you appreciate most about our care services?" to help them structure their review.

Google Review Request Email Example

Subject: Qualicare Favour

Body: Hi Jane,

I hope you and your family are doing well, and that your father is settling in comfortably with our care services. I was wondering if I could ask a small favour? As a family-owned business, we rely on the support of families like yours to help others discover our services.

One of the best ways for us to reach more people in need of quality care is through positive reviews on our Google Business page. A strong online presence helps us connect with families who might not know where to start when seeking home care services.

If you could take just a minute or two to leave us a brief review, it would make a world of difference. You can easily do so by clicking here.

Thank you so much for your time and support!

Best wishes,
John
