Setting Up

Setting Up

Setting up on lead aggregator platforms is more than just filling out a profile. It’s your opportunity to position your business as trustworthy, responsive, and professional from the very first impression. Families who find you on these platforms are often comparing several providers at once, so a strong setup helps you stand out. This section provides general guidelines on how to establish a strong foundation across all aggregator profiles.

Zoho Lead Alerts &  Visibility

The very first step is to complete the Lead Aggregator Intake Form with Home Office so parsing rules and ownership are set up correctly. Follow the detailed guidelines in the Zoho Lead Parsing & Management section.

Lead alerts should be routed to one designated person on your team so there is clear accountability for the first response. At the same time, everyone in your office will still have visibility into the lead through Zoho CRM, which ensures transparency and collaboration. The person receiving alerts must treat each referral as urgent—think of every new inquiry as a ringing phone. Responding immediately is critical to beating competitors who received the same lead.

Create a strong profile

Your profile is your storefront. Families will often compare you against several agencies at once. Make sure your business name, description, and services match the Qualicare branding. Upload the Qualicare logo, high-quality photos, and contact information. Write a clear description of your services that highlights trust, compassion, and reliability.

Budget and lead management

Set an initial budget that gives you enough leads to measure results — about $1,000/month as a baseline. Confirm your lead caps or credit settings align with your goals and capacity. Make sure to integrate your aggregators into Zoho CRM so that leads are tracked consistently, tagged by source, and trigger automated email replies. If the aggregator platform does not have auto-parsing set up, manually add new leads into Zoho immediately to ensure they are included in automated drips. Also ensure you have systems and processes in place to manage these leads effectively — from notifications to follow-up. See the Lead Follow-Up section for more guidelines on lead follow-up.

Reviews

Ask for reviews early to build credibility — profiles with reviews and visuals are shown more prominently and convert better.

As a simple formula, aim for about 80% of your reviews on Google and 20% on lead aggregator sites.

This ensures your Google Business Profile remains your strongest review channel while still building credibility on aggregators. For Bark specifically, you can sync your Google reviews directly to your profile to strengthen your presence without asking families to review in multiple places.

Consistency across platforms

Even if you are only active on one platform to start, maintain consistent messaging, photos, and descriptions across all profiles. This reinforces your reputation if families search across multiple sites.
